The San Saba County Jail has two floors. One floor was originally for the jailer and his/her family while the top floor was used to lock up those people found by the law to be in violation of the code of conduct at the time.
The jail is made of sandstone and has a visiting area for criminals paying their time. It also has a display of drug paraphernalia that has been confiscated. Luckily I have never visited the inside of the jail and have no idea what it looks like. Anyone with information please contact ..... just kidding :)
