The south side of the courthouse reads "FROM THE PEOPLE TO THE PEOPLE". The courthouse has three floors and the court room is in the upper floor. Drivers License replacement is on the first floor and taxes are paid on the second floor. Judges and District attorneys are located on the second floor which you can exit from on the north and south sides via the concrete stair case.
Pecan trees can be found along the exterior and parking is available on all sides. The courthouse is located adjacent to Wallace Street and parking is circular around the entire parameter for ease of entry. All sides allow for entry into the courthouse. Country Peddlers Day is held on the first Saturday of every month along the sidewalks that are located around the courthouse. Peddlers Day sales include many things like those found at your typical flee market plus homemade crafts at a nice bargain.
